The silver vanity
Mirror, bottle, glove: the objects that belong with the look.
Every look has a dressing table behind it. This one would hold an ornate silver hand mirror, a filigree perfume bottle with a crystal stopper, and long navy velvet gloves laid over the edge.
They are the same three materials again, used as objects instead of clothes: silver that is worked by hand, crystal that is cut, velvet that is soft. Put them together on pale grey and they need no styling at all.
The point is not to own these things. It is to know what belongs together, and why.
