Mum to Mum – Cuddle Dry Review

Bath time is a fun experience with a baby, for us, this is usually where James gets some one on one time with Amelia and before our very eyes we’ve turned into this well oiled machine and got into a routine, however sometimes we have a poo explosion and for one reason or another I need to bath Amelia during the day, this is often around the time I need to magically have a twin as trying to do it all alone can feel a little too much. When bathing Amelia alone, one of the most vital parts of the routine is our Cuddledry hands free towel.

By simply placing this round me and fastening it via it’s two poppers, I’m left hands free ready with a towel to pick Amelia up from the bath, and In a few easy fluid steps, I have a happy and secure wrapped up baby ready to get dry. No more faffing about with a towel and having to put something on the floor and transfer her to the floor on top of  something dry or trying to hold her and support her neck whilst wrapping a towel round her and not get my clothes soaked in the process. This really is one of our lifesavers at bath time and we wouldn’t be without it.

I love the grey and white star design our Cuddledry comes in, it also comes in blue and white, oatmeal and white, pink and white, cow print and the next colours I think we’ll get, leopard print and pure white! Now don’t worry if you don’t have a baby like us, they have a variation for towels for toddlers and children to snuggle in and dry which you can check out on their website here.

What a great product! My OH was away with work a lot when Lily was a baby and it was always a faff getting her out the bath. Wish I’d known about these! Will be getting one for a friend who is expecting!

  • I had something similar when I first had my son and it was brilliant! Made bathtime easier!

  • Amelia

Ah what a fab towel, wish I knew about this when I had a newborn. Always found it hard work trying to faff and get her wrapped up warm quickly.

This looks so fab – it’s so big which is great – I’m so fed up of the tiny baby towels, Henry loves to be bundled up!

I love the cuddle dry towels – Emilia looks like she loves them too! I can’t get over how much she looks like you as well – it’s not fair!!

  • I wish I had one of these when my two were little, such a clever idea!! We love our Cuddledry towels 🙂 x

SERIOUSLY LOOK AT HER! I saw your IG story on this and absolutely wish we’d had it when P was smaller, it was always so difficult getting him out, trying not to drop the towel in the bath etc when doing it solo, what an ace product.

I wish I had one of these when Alfie was smaller, my husband especially found it hard to get him out and hold the towel at the same time. She looks sooo adorable!

  • Jenna Richards

This is such a good idea – I always find getting a baby out of the bath SO awkward. This makes so much sense.

    PS. She’s gorgeeeeous.

Great idea for a towel! I remember it being so hard to bath Dexter in those early days.
