Jet2Holidays Post Holiday Blues Package

Jet2Holidays Post Holiday Blues Lucielovesit

I can remember as a child we’d go on holiday every year and I don’t think I ever experienced “holiday blues”. I realise now, that I never had them because I always new there was next year! Since growing up and moving out and spending all half my money on food, makeup and clothes ( yet I’m always hungry and can never find anything to wear? lol ) holiday always seems to get bumped for other rent lol.

Aiya Nappa lucielovesit

This time last year I was in Aiya Nappa and it was my first “girls” holiday and it was absolutely epic. I think anyone that’s been on a girls holiday will know its filled with untold jokes, classic hilarious moments and to try to explain them all just wouldn’t do the holiday justice, you just had to be there.  Well my best friend Maxine was working out there last year and myself and her sister and cousin went out there and we had a riot of a time and when I got back, well, they don’t call them “Nappa Blues” for nothing.  We felt like hotel royalty having one of the largest balcony’s in sight,  with the strip a few moments walk, every night was a party night and every day was a come-down. Once we were back, all of us missed it, It was too quite at night haha. We were used to music blaring at 4am or camped out on our balcony having our own little party.

Facebook sent me a notifiction saying I had a memory from a year ago and it was all my pictures from Nappa and I immediately wanted to go back, and as if by some kind of holiday blues magic I was asked to review the Jet2Holidays post holiday blues package and its such a cute idea!

Whats inside:

” I’ve got 99 problems but a beach ain’t one” Postcard – Now personally, I’m going to frame this with a picture of me on a beach loving life. A postcard is a great gift to put in the Post Holiday Blues package!

Pizza Express £10 gift card & a bag of Hairibo – These were both thoughtful gifts to put in, I always have lots of amazing meals when I’m away so coming back home and going for a yummy pizza at one of my favourite Pizza places is a great way to get back to normal cuisine! Fun Fact, I’ve been eating at Pizza Express for about 15 years and I always get a la Reine pizza everytime. Always.

Nivea Intensive Moisturiser – This was a good shout! After a trip away my skin is always a little dry. I’m blessed with Sicilian skin and seldom burn and usually always come back with a banging tan so keeping my skin soft and moisturised to avoid peeling after the holidays is always a priority!

Garnier Ambre Solaire orignal intense no streaks bronzer wipes – I’ve always been more of a sunbed girl in terms of topping up the tan but wipes and moisturisers with a hint of colour in them are so handy and this was a great choice to go in the box too! Anything that can keep me in bliss that I’m still brown and on the beach is a winner for me!

All in all some great picks to tackle through those post holiday blues! I know I’ll be going away next year and will have to remember all these to help keep my blues away!

Have you come back from holiday with the blues?

What would help you tackle them?

*Please note some of these items may be PR samples.
  • Nivea has always been one of my favorite skincare, and of course, its always a good holiday buddy to bring with.. Though I haven’t tried the garnier ambre solaire yet, I think it’s a good product just as good as others from garnier.
    Have a lovely day, hun!
