Haul #1 | Boots

Boots haul 2Boots haul 3Boots haul 4

For the past 2 years I have started a new tradition with myself and this year was no different. The short of it – I spend a lot of money in Boots throughout the year and I rack up those points and for the last 2 years running I’ve had over £30 on my card and have treated myself to mini Boots hauls. It’s become quite the treat come the end of the year to just have a mini splurge on myself after buying everyone else gifts!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in ‘Tropical’ – I don’t know what I’d do without dry shampoo and I’ve ran out so had to repurchase the tropical scent which smells of tropical coconut – very original description there haha. This is bottle number 4 so definitely a favourite, be sure to give it a smell!

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hour Foundation with Comfort Serum in Classic Beige – Don’t you just love it when you fall in love with a foundation? I’ve been a fan of Rimmel for many years as their Wake Me Up foundation was a firm favourite of mine but after trying the 25 hour foundation it’s now taken first place and will forever be my go to foundation. Paired with the right primer and setting spray this full coverage foundation is an absolute winner with my dry/combination skin and I’d rant and rave about it till the cows come home. Let me know if you’d like to see a foundation routine using this and my other staple products in the comments below! 😀

L’Oréal Revitalift Laser Renew Precision Eye – It’s 2016, I’m going to be 28 this year and its high time I sort out my sallow under eyes, dark circles and let’s not get started on my hulk vein that likes to hulk out 24/7. This year I’m making one of my goals to find a product that might help and I saw this and thought I’d give it a go! So if you have any suggestions for me to try be sure to let me know!

Collection lasting Perfection Concealer in fair – This is an oldie but a goodie, I always like to try different concealers but after a while of meh’s and ehh’s I always end up getting this one again! I’ve been really into baking my concealer lately and It works really well with this concealer for a creaseless, lighter undereye and I was running out so had another repurchase of this to keep me looking flawless through the start of the year!

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick in Grand Cru – I discovered these last year when I purchased ’07- Nude-ist’  and I was OBSESSED with the colour pigmentation, application and overall longevity of the product. Though it’s not as good as the Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks in my opinion, but I still really rate these and as a girl who works 12 hour shifts I don’t always have time to re-apply and it’s nice to know there is another affordable high street product that I can buy in varied colours for a long lasting wear. Defiantly want to get more of these!

Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water Combination & Sensitive Skin – I’m still kicking myself a bit for this purchase as I forgot Boots stocked Bioderma and I was running out and wanted another but I saw this one and thought I’d give it a try.

What are you going to be treating yourself to next?

I’m exactly the same with the collection concealer. I do always try new ones but I always come back to it, such lovely quality for the price! The Velvet Lipstick sounds nice, and is something I’ve never tried.

    Brill post!
