Baby Wishlist Wednesday #2 – Changing Bag

Welcome back to Wishlist Wednesday – Baby edition! This week I’m sharing all the changing bags I’ve been lusting after. I’ve always taken after my mum with my expensive taste in handbags and I’m sure she’ll love to know that it’s carried through to changing bags for when Amelia is here!

If I’m honest, I hadn’t thought too much about bags and with everything else we needed to buy for our newborn on the way, this seemed like something I could happily skip on and the more I’ve been looking at bags, the more I think I was SO wrong and here are just a few that I’ve got my eye on!

So first I had to talk about the brand Pacapod who seem to be stealing my heart, particularly  with 3 of their bags,  the (1) Pacapod Firenze in Pewter £265, the  (2) Pacapod Picos Pack Backpack £85 and the  (3) Pacapod Prescott in Black £115! Now out of all 3 I must admit I’m leaning more towards the Prescott. All of the Pacapod range comes with their signature 3-in-1 baby organiser and has loads of hidden panels and zips and seems to have a pocket for everything! I love that you have your 2 pods for baby items, bottles in one and wipes and a change of clothes in another to keep everything hygienic, a compartment for the  changing mat not to mention has a laptop compartment, zipped security section and a key fob and mobile phone pocket. Here’s a video of the prescott but they are all similar but different shapes and designs and I’m not going to lie.. I’m lusting hard!

I love the (4) Baby Beau Sophia Crock £189 bag, first for its luxe look but I love that it’s made with growth in mind, so as the baby gets older the things I’ll want to keep in the bag will change and the bag is able to evolve with that. The chic black and white removable organiser pops in and out and is two medium-sized pockets to the front for things like babies clothes and then two stretch side bottle holder pockets. Then at the back there are two medium compartments and one large compartment with a button fastener and a secure zip pocket. I love that it comes with a padded changing mat in the same black and white stripe design along with a thermal insulated bottle holder, dust bag and a leather key holder it’s the little things!

The (5)Born in Britain Charlton hobo in Berry £195 caught my eye as it’s won two prestigious awards, a Silver award at the 2016 Junior Design Awards and a Gold award in the Best Baby and Toddler Gear 2016 – Luxury Changing Bag category.  Along side its gorgeous berry colour, I love that they have really thought about the size and all of their bags have their signature zip around back section with its extra wide pop off changing mat and there seems to be a place for everything with the elasticated wipe holder and nappy bag pocket, there is even a deep elasticated pocket for hand sanitizer and creams etc!  Inside the bag has 2 bottle holders and 2 pockets, phone pocket a secure zip pocket and that infamous key holder!

The (6) Lucy and Belle Swarovski Elements in toffee £170 is this gorgeous grey colour with a discreet swarovski detailing on the front of the bag. This one certainly doesn’t resemble your classic baby bag and looks more like a handbag I’d pick up. The outer material is imitation leather which means it’s machine washable which makes it one of the more practical bags should any accidents happen. The bag includes a changing mat, makeup case, a mini change bag with a dummy holder and bottle bag. Inside the bag is a large main compartment and several pockets making this one to certainly think about!

I have taken quite a fancy to the Tiba and Marl bags, in particular the (7) Tiba and Marl Raf Weekender in Leopard £120 and the (8) Tiba and Marl Raf Holdall in Khaki £115. Now the Raf Weekender speaks to me on a personal level because of the leopard print design which I adore! It’s lightweight and made from top quality padded nylon with faux leather detailing and just looks super cool and stylish. It’s large enough to fit everything in and would double up as a weekend bag, hospital bag and carry on bag for all those weekends away I wont be having haha. It comes with a luxury padded changing mat and a removable clutch/cross body bag, an insulated bottle holder and cup holder, there is also a zip pocket and an internal clip for either keys or a dummy /toy and a pocket for a phone and 5 additional internal pockets. Now you do need to purchase 2 metal D-rings for attachment to a pram with Tiba + Marl stroller clips and they’re  sold separately but that’s a small negative. The Raf holdall is a compact version of the weekend but still includes all the great features above without the extra room. I LOVE the colour so much and could really see me using this daily.

Another gorgeous luxury bag is the Jem and Bea Jemima £265  that’s made from 100% tumbled calf leather. It comes with a gorgeous leather vanity pouch, padded changing mat and loads of room! There are 8 interior pockets including a secure zip pocket and phone pocket, two exterior slip pockets and a thermo-insulated bottle holder! There are so many small personalisations with the bag that make it a look more of a handbag like it’s logo embossed leather tag and polished gold toned hardware it’s certainly going to make for a great changing bag/handbag!

Lastly, I wanted to finish on a slightly different bag from a brand I found on Instagram called Little.Sea.Luxe and they have this gorgeous Mono Leopard Mumma Nappy Clutch $74.95/£58 – Now yes I am drawn to it by the leopard print but I love that it’s a clutch, for those quick trips out where you might just be popping down the road to grab some milk and bread or you’re going for coffee at your mums and she’s got everything there but you still want to be a little prepared on route. So you’ve got baby in a baby carrier and you don’t need the world in your bag, just a few essentials in case, that’s where the clutch comes in! This clutch is measuring at 34 x 26cm and has 5 pockets inside to hold all the babies essentials AND comes with a matching changing mat! There is enough room for your purse keys and phone! It’s large enough to carry under arm, but small enough to fit in a medium sized handbag or just under the pram! This is a MUST have on my list!

I’m in the lovely Facebook group for Mummy Bloggers and we thought it would be fun to all take part in these wishlist posts to spread some blogging love and to probably enable each other to buy more haha.
